DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT - I REPEAT - DO NOT rely on the pull-out method as a form of not getting pregnant. Read all the other answers you've gotten here. These people are right. Besides the pre-ejaculation coming from the penis, there is no guarantee that the male partner will pull out in time! I had a friend who's boyfriend swore he would pull out on time and he didn't. My friend got pregnant by that very occasion.
Do not get yourself pregnant or your partner pregnant. Once you have a kid, you are tied to the person you made it with FOREVER and if you are young and even if you are not, chances are you won't want to be tied to that person forever.

Coitus interruptus, as it is sometimes called, is definately unsafe. First, without using a condom you both are at the highest risk of contracting a sexually transmitted disease. Second, the male may produce pre-ejaculate which can contain sperm. Finally, there's the chance that after pulling out, he accidently ejaculates between your legs and sperm finds its way in.
If STDs are not an issue, there are numerous birth control methods available to you, unless of course you're religious and think sex for reasons other than procreation is a sin. A trip to your local Planned Parenthood should provide you with a list of available contraceptives. There is even a birth control pill for men currently in clinical trials.

If you are over 14, I can't believe you need to ask this...what do you think. It is like asking, if I play in the middle of the highway, but jump away when I see a 10 ton truck coming at me, is it safe? If this so-called "method" worked do you suppose there would be so many different methods of birth control? Think!

That is a strong no if you do not want to get pregnant not to mention since you probably did not use condoms the chances of sexually transmitted diseases. Pre ejaculate contains sperm, where there's sperm and an egg there is fertilization, and when there is fertilization there is a baby.
