It's never a bad thing to help out a friend, but I would recommend that you set clear limits and boundaries....you will still need private time with your boyfriend, your friend will be expected to carry his load of responsibilities around the house and help with bills and once he has started making money at work, he has X amount of time to find his own place. Explain that you feel that setting clear expectations for everyone for the get-go will prevent any misunderstanding and any potential damage being done to your friendship.

I think it is incredibly nice of you!!! Just be careful that you set ground rules regarding the living situation and the car. That will save problems from developing later if you both know whats expected. Also, you might want to check with your insurance company since he will be driving your car. I hope your kindness comes back to you two-fold! You are a good friend.

No. dont indulge in that because it can put your relation with your boyfriend at stake. let your bof friend assist him but you don't try to get involve in this. It takes a lot of effort to create and maintain a realation and needs just a hair size DOUBT which breaks the relation. This world is very cruel and most importantly this world is most cruel to those persons who try to help others against all odds. This is my suggestion , Final decision is yours. What you want : to help someone and risk your relation with your boyfriend OR to take wise decision and maintain your relation with your boyfriend in a SAFE.
Regards

It's one thing to get him a job, but he should only stay at your place until he finds his own place and you went overboard with the car. Why can't he ride with you to work if you are going to the same place.
