i was contacted by a homeowner who had them in their house and when it was windy they leaked. i contacted the marvin rep. and was told "they must have been installed wrong or the house settled". i told him that the gap was uniform and that the windows were square in the opening. "not marvins problem, take the siding off of the house and re install them or put storm windows on". nice attitude, huh? needless to say i won't sell them. i like mastic windows, they are very good, priced competitively and alcoa owns the company. they have a good warranty and you know that alcoa will be around to back them. of course any window is only as good as the installation so shop around and check out the contractor before you sign. good luck and hope this helps

Have these in the cottage up North (Wisconsin). Great windows, seem to take the punishment well, from hot Summers to frosty Winters - we shut down the cottage from about 12/1 to 4/1 every year, so they get exposed to below freezing inside and out.
