virus scanners and protection software. I recommend Adaware for spam filters and Norton Antivirus for virus protection. But there are a lot of freeware online for such software. Try going to cnet.com

download ad-aware from lavasoft.com, make sure it is updated, and run a full scan

then press CTRL+ALT+DEL, open the task manager, and pick 'processes'

make a list of everything in there, and search for each item online to find out what it is, and what to do with it

if it still has problems, get anti-virus software, make sure it is updated, and run a full scan

goto www.download.com and search for adaware and avg, run the scans with both

virus scanners....i use Ad-Aware and AVG (both free) and i rarely have any problems with that.
