There is this girl who goes to my school and she follows me and my friends everywhere! She came to my school last year and was really shy, so I was nice to her and tried to introduce her to new people. Now she just won't leave me alone! She basically rotates people and she follows them everywhere and copies everything they do. She followed me into the bathroom once. I've been really nice to her, and hinted to go away, but she just won't leave me alone. What do I do???

It sounds like she is just lonely and trying to fit in to the group. Have you tried talking with her and finding out what she does with her spare time? You might find out she's not so bad after all. Give her a chance and see what developes. If it doesn't work out, just tell her that you have some things to do and she can't come along. I know it sounds kind of mean, but sometimes in life we just have to be mean. She'll get over it.

hmm..that's a tough one..and kinda weird...i would just nudge her over to a private place and confront her about it. be nice about it but be truthful to. tell her that you have noticed that she may be "hanging around" you too much and it makes you feel a bit uncomfortible. she should understand, however, if that doesn't work, that could sound like a stalking problem, i would go to your guidance councler and explain the situation to them, if you can't get the message through to her, then they can!! don't feel weird or mean about "telling", as long as you tried to solve it yourself first, there is nothing wrong with going to an outside source for help! Good Luck!!

Directness is the most effective and honest way to deal with any situation. Politely ask her one day, "Do you need something? I've noticed you following me around." That let's her know you don't like it and it's still friendly. Be friendly but not overly. Wave but don't stop to chat. She will get the point and doing it respectfully, there will be no hard feelings.

Well, have you hung around her long enough to see if you like her or not? I say give it a chance. She maybe doing the same thing, hanging around people to see who she might really click with. If everyone tries to avoid her can you imagine the complex she will develope. Put her shoes on and take time to give it time to work itself out. If she sees you are trying to avoid her she maybe more persistant because she wants to get to know you.

DON"T worry about what people think if you hang with her. Have lunch with her one day. Find out what she likes and maybe you will know someone you can gradually introduce her to. And maybe they will become friends.

Omg I had the same problem! Ok what I did was try to stay as far away from the girl as possible, I ignored her, and it worked. If that dosnt work, just flat out ask her why shes following you.

Stop whining. At least somebody considers you their friend with out you having to try to act a certain way, or spend money. Why can't you just keep her under your wing she'll find her own way out. She probably needs you right now. Theres noyhing wrong w/ that. Right Right.

Since you are in school, why dont you report on her? it will make her realize that she did too over the line. Or try to blunt to her that she did wrong things since she entered the school. But remember she might not have a life.

YOU are super nice like me, but when you cannot take it anymore try to find her another friend or just be honest with her.
