Are you talking about pit bulls? They are WAY stronger than German shepherds (Alsatians). Their jaws are powerful (far more pounds per square inch), they have big, deep chests, and their shorter legs give them better leverage. They also have small ears, small (or docked) tails, and tight skin, so it's very difficult for another dog to get a grip on them. They are bred for fighting.
To be fair, though, all the ones I've met were big, playful babies. But I would not want to give any of them any cause for thinking I'm an enemy! Even the friendliest ones would have no problem subduing a burglar.

- The illegal dogs are illegal because they can be vicious. German shephards might well be stronger (i don't know) but they are also quite gentle.
- Dogs might be stronger than a human, but humans are a lot smarter. With a little practice it is easy to predict what a dog is going to do, and they have some very simple weak points. So it is not too hard for a human to defeat a dog.
- A few simple things to do if a dog attacks you: kick it on the chin, punch down on its nose, put a hand over its eyes, step to its side and hug its head to your chest, from there you can pull its legs font legs from under it...

What the hell are you talking about ??? Its got nothing to do with the size of the animal you **** - its about the inbreeding and training making them into killer dogs. Look at a great dane - they are huge and yet the soppiest dogs you could meet. Pit bulls have a jaw that locks in position making it nigh on impossible to get them off in an attack - they are bred for fighting UNLIKE German Shepherds. Can you name the last time a German Shepherd was involved in an attack on a human ??? No I didnt think so !!!!!!!
