This just wrong,..

if your current man has any respect for you, he needs to clean this up.

end this stupid friendship and devote way more time to strengthening what you two have.

The worst thing you could do right now is to forbid your husband from being friends with your ex. Yes, I understand that your ex may not be a moral champion, but for you to forbid it will make your husband want to hang out with him more (and sneak around behind your back) AND will make you look like a controlling, insecure person. This also means that whatever your ex wants to say about you (lie or truth), your husband will more likely believe it. Can't you imagine this now? Your ex telling your husband, "Dude... she's always been a control freak... that's why I wanted out. And along with that, she's also......." Don't give them that chance to do something like that. Like some before me said, let them do their thing, but just keep an eye on that situation. The more you try to control that, the more it will backfire on you. It's a delicate situation... I wish you and your husband all the best and hope that it will work out.

I think you are wrong. This guy obviously hurt you pretty badly and that is where these emotions are stemming from. Acknowledge that the only reason you don't like your husband being around him is because the guy is a dog. But your husband loves you and he would never turn into that guy no matter how close they became. Try to be understanding of their friendship and be the better person. It's been five years, maybe the guy changed a bit. You should give him a chance.

Theres more to it than meets any of your eyes.

Have you ever thought that perhaps the one way your husband could make your life better is if you didn't have to worry about your ex coming down on you. Is your x giving you crap, are you always complaining about him? Well, if so, than your hubby may be playing what we call "keep your friends close, but your enemies closer" doing so may ease up your x's bull with you and he may back off a bit knowing you have a good strong supporting hubby that defends you.

NO your not wrong. I would kill my husband if he even thought about being friends with my ex-husband. OMG this so must suck for you. I know I go to my husband to complain about what my ex has done and when he still pisses me off. I would hate to see my husband say now, now don't talk that way about my friend. I would really sit my husband down and say this isn't happening. If your husband refuses to end that friendship I would honestly consider divorcing him as well. Nothing good can come from your ex-husband being involved so tightly with your marriage.

This is a toughie, on one hand he may of found a friend regardless that he is an ex of yours, but on the other he may be talking about you and even getting tips off him on how to cheat, explain to your hubby your situation and say your not happy, don't tell him he will bring him down, that is supposition tell him the fact your not happy with the situation. Any situation where one is not happy with it, isnt right, whatever it is.

You've given him your opinion and he ought to have respected your wishes and I don't understand why any guy would be friends with their wife's X but whatever. Main problem is that you can't choose his friends. He'll just end up resenting you which really wouldn't help the situation. Just make sure that you're there for him, make it known that you don't want to see the guy, and hope that he will see the light sooner rather than later.

Let him know the ex would not be welcome at the house as he makes your skin crawl and you do not trust him. One way your sure to get rid of him is to let your hubby know the ex has been hitting on you or threatening you.
Why did you split up, did he break your heart? Do you still find him attractive. Perhaps that will make your hubby dislike him...let him know you still find him attractive...This would probably cause many problems however.

No I think you're justified... Why would he want to be friends with your Ex? To me it doesn't make sense, especially if you've told him all the bad things he's done (I'm assuming he's done bad things since you said "lying, cheating no good ex of mine")

I'd be less worried about your husband and more worried about your ex and his motives for befriending your husband.
If his motive is not genuine and honorable and you can get your husband to recognize this, then he will have issues with it too.
Good luck.
