As Common Sense said, the renaissance was a cultural and technological awakening in Europe. So, how did it change Europe? It led to the rebirth of the arts for one. It physically changed the landscape of parts of Europe, especially Italy. You could also take a look at some of the scientific and/or technological advances made during the renaissance and see how they changed Europe. Some advances include: windmill, magnetic compass, eyeglasses, and the astrolabe. They also began to make better ships during that time and together with the compass sea travel was made earlier and that eventually led to the exploration of the world and settlement of the new world and you can't tell me that didn't change Europe.

The word Renaissance means "re-birth" in French. This time period basically is the "re-birth" of Classical (that is Greek and Roman) culture, art, architecture, advances of science, and philosophy. This is the 'change' throughout Europe you speak of. For more imformation, see the source below!
