My husband is like a little kid sometimes - he put campaign stickers all over his Nalgene water bottle. Tried to remove them by running through the dishwasher over and over and now the whole thing is just sticky. How can we get off the sticky stuff?

Goo Gone is definitely the best for removing the glue from labels without scratching the surface or damaging the finish on anything containing a label. WD40 is more for lubricating (super product for loosing rusted bolts, etc.) hindges and rubbing metal surfaces.
