There are many main stream sites where you can listen to music and watch music vids completely free. I like Yahoo Videos best. No login or registration required. They always have many latest Pop, Rock, R&B Vids.

I use Frostwire, It's an improved copy of limewire, it's really good, a lot of music and videos, and the improvement is that you don't get the messages of Upgrading that limewire keeps sending, or its limitations.

(Absolutely free! No content filters, No commercial nags.)

May I recommend Pandora? You tell it what kind of music you like and it automatically finds similar music.
