Old, old, really old riddle.
It generally goes,'The doctor sees the boy and says, "I can't operate on him, he is my son." How is that possible?
Please note, this riddle comes from a time when people living together and having kids without being married was unheard of or at least unmentioned.
The doctor is, of course, his mother as many have already answered.
