I get my bikini line waked during the summer between 2 to 3 weeks every month. I remember the first time I got it. I think it really depends on your pain tolerance. I have very thick hair and unfortunately it grows fast. You don't want the hair short let it grow out. They shouldn't have to trim the hair just wax it right off. It really did not hurt me that bad the first time. I don't think it should hurt you very badly I have lots of friends who also get waxed and none have complained about the pain. Make sure you go to a good place. I know in Texas the most I have paid is 35 dollars and every time it is a great wax. Good Luck

Sorry to be the one to tell you this, but yes yes yes yes!! The first time is the WORST! After a few times it gets a little better, but it still hurts like hell. The up side is that it is soooo worth it, you don't have to worry about anything for like 3 weeks, and that beats the hell out of shaving every other day.

that is not undesirable in any respect, actual not nicely worth demanding about. it truly is almost as painful as pulling off a band-help. The discomfort lasts less than a second and then you're again to standard. good success and do not rigidity your self out. in case you are able to tweeze you'll get waxed.

Oh thanks for the reminder! I need to go today. The first time I went it felt worst then getting a tattoo! The stupid lady didn't even trim me up, she went straight for the wax. Remember Beauty is Pain! End results are amazing

I only get my eyebrows done, but it hurts worse the first time, usually cus you have more hair.It mostly depends on where you go cuz some people do it rough...threading hurts more though

You want that hair somewhat grown out before you wax or it WILL hurt like hell!

that's if you're doing it for the 1st time whereby the roots are still really thick. by the third or 4th time, it will be better, i guess.
