I'm Scottish, have lived in England for many years and, rather that hating the English, I have a tendency to marry them! My husband, although born in England, has an Irish father and a Scottish mother. So, just how 'English' does that make him? Just because you happen to be born in a particular country does not mean you are superior (although I get the impression you think you are).
Hatred and war is not a recipe for success. Let's stop trying to hose fear on one another and start sprinkling love around. Mind you, having said all that, Scotland and England play rugby on 3 February at Twickenham. Hmmm. That should prove to be a very interesting afternoon down our local when I will probably be the only Scottish person supporting her team! The nice thing about my English husband, though, is that he expects me to shout for Scotland and, afterwards, we will no doubt put our patriotic differences to one side and continue to behave like reasonable, civilised people.

Leave the Scots, Irish and welsh alone, without them, we wouldn't have won every war we've been in, they are life savers of the English, I'm proud to have the Welsh Scots and Irish as allies!

I hate the english and I am english.... (half irish, quarter english, quarter irish). I can survive without england, just like england doesn't give an F about me, I feel the same about it. No english person is "pure english" did you know that? The english of today are the results of what happened when the Irish, Welsh and Scottish started mixing with each other in England.

I find it hard to believe you're even English to be honest. Either you aren't or you've been terrebly sheltered.
Come on over to Ireland. No one hates England, not really anyway. You get these eejits talking blarney now and then, but most of the time they're as uneducated as you sound. Plus heavily drunk on top of that.
Let's settle it over a pint! =D

Hey, why get angry? Let's leave the 'regions' to get all bitter and twisted. Sure, the Scots and Welsh (I have less issue with the Irish) hate us. But so what? We nicked the oil from Scotland and the coal from Wales (cue evil laugh ........Mwahahaha) and all they can do is whinge and form silly, insignificant little assemblies in their own piffling country. So what? Leave them to it.

KOSUM, PLEASE!
Don't give them any ideas!
If they gang together they may win!
Our safety lies in the knowledge that they dislike each other more than us!!
