I've been in Dover,DE for a few months and i need to meet new people. I have a few friends at my job but were still getting to know each other.BUT I need to find people like myself. I've been out to a few clubs when i get the chance but im not really meeting people men/women in the clubs who aren't really ready to be serious with me or just be a really good friend. And yes im bi-sexual. I don't live alone at the moment which is a bit hard for me to meet new people and she's not accepting of certain lifestyles including mine but she doesn't know it yet. But whenever i do go out its the same kind of people that keep coming up to me. im very open-minded when it comes to people for i am a military brat and was in the military. Like I said i don't have a preference although there are people im more attracted to than others like the nice geeks to the freaks:goths,emos which the latter i've seen will smile at me but will do nothing more.Im just looking for smart funny people to meet like me

Do you have a MySpace page?
Maybe you could try that and search for people in your area with the same interests or join a group on myspace that your interested in. There are TONZ of places on the internet to meet new people..
~You could also get a membership to a local gym and make friends there.
~Bowling Alley...join a bowling league.
~Pool League...
~Sign up for bar league stuff....darts, volleyball, basketball...etc~!

My first choice is church, also.
After that, try Lowe's or Home Depot. If they are shopping there it says several things:
1. They have some money which implies a job.
2. They have some skills.
3. They work which may include repairs and maintenance of a home.
There is also the grocery store for basically the same reasons.
It is very simple to start a conversation. Ask a question about some tool or job or food product.

You could always do the myspace thing. I am married, but I go on there just to chat with old friends and I get hit on all the time. you should have no problem. Oh, and you can meet people in grocery stores or restaurants, etc...I met my husband at his work ( I went to apply for a job there)

whoever said the place to meet people is at a club is mistaken most motives at a club are not setting up for anything serious or related to anything with the word relationship try going to places that upbuilding libraries, museums, go to places where there are things that interest you and you might find those who have something a little more substantial to give you besides a one night stand
