Moderate exercise is encouraged throughout your whole pregnancy. Walking, lifting small weights, etc.

Ask your doctor. He/she may not recommend exercise if you are considered high risk or have had a miscarriage in the past. However, if you exercised regularly before becoming pregnant, most likely it will be fine. Just listen to your doctor and your body. If the doctor okays exercise, don't push your body too hard. If you feel pains or pulling in the abdomen, stop the exercise and contact your doctor. Best of luck and congratulations on your pregnancy!

Yes it is ok to exercise. You may have to change your work out regimen, but it is actually really good for you to exercise during pregnancy. Walking for instance can even help the ease of delivery. As long as your doctor doesn't see a problem, then I would say exercise away.

As long as you are feeling well enough, yes you can. I was told to stick the same type of workout- no increase of weights or intensity, nothing new. Also, don't do anything that would make you fall- cycling, rollerblading.
It is best to check with your doctor as there may be come constraints that are unique to your pregnancy.

First and foremost, get specific information from your OBGYN. If your pregnancy is a safe one, then light exercise will be approved including walking. Just ask each time you see the doc.

it's true that you should get an opinion from your doctor based on your health, but if you're healthy and you were exercising before pregnancy, keep it up! exercise makes better mommies and babies. my midwife told me to just keep doing what i'm doing, until it feels weird or too strenous. i am 16 weeks and still lifting weights and doing situps. i took dance classes until i was 12 weeks along! good luck!
