In addition to Apple's own radio remote (which only comes in white), Griffin sells a black radio remote with slightly different functionality. To start with, it does not use the iPod display for the radio function (which does lose you some information) but it does have a small LCD screen which will display the radio frequency on the remote itself (which Apple's does not). However, both are fairly weak receivers that might get a lot of static on a station that you're used to getting a clear signal from, both run directly off the iPod for a power source, and both can be used as either an FM receiver or a remote for your iPod's music library. Neither offer anything worthwhile for watching videos, though.

Get the iPod Radio Remote. Check it out at: http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore?productLearnMore=MA070G/B

About the FM Radio
Just plug in your iPod Radio Remote and select “Radio” from the main iPod menu. Tuning takes place right there in the color display with your Click Wheel, just as you'd set a classic analog radio. Easily mark a favorite station for quick access later, and switch between favorite stations using either the iPod or the remote.
