Lets be honest, looking at one person is wrong....thats avoiding eye contact. The only true answer is when you mature you will come to realize that other peoples opinions dont matter. Be yourself and relax. Try to talk about a subject your enjoy!

This is one of those things in life where you really must try to do the thing that seems really hard. It's important to talk in front of people to get over being shy about talking in front of them. What a quandry huh?
Try to remember that people enjoy hearing what's going on with your thoughts/feeling as much as you enjoy hearing others. Try to remember the only way for people to get to know you and enjoy you, in person, is for them to hear you speak. Try to remember that it feels hard now, but the more you do it, the easier and easier it will become. It may not be the easiest thing in your life, but it will get easier than it is right now if you start now and keep practicing talking in front of people.

If you're talking in front of the class, look above their heads at the wall and focus on that. If its answering questions from your desk, just read your answer from your paper and keep it as short as possible. As for the boy in your class, I got nothin'--good luck in the pursuit though!

Instead of looking at the boy you like, look at the ugliest or most repulsive guy in the class when you talk in front of every one. That will keep you from being nervous.

Its all about how you carry yourself....I use to make people laugh. Honestly you could worry yourself to death about it, but trust me everyone is nervous even the most popular kid thats making jokes is nervous. The guy that you like if you're part of his social group then find out through a mutual friend and if you are not part of his social group make an impression enough for him to come up to you and sa "hi"...or "that was cool" or something.

The trick is to pick one person in your audience and look ONLY at them. Pretend you are talking only thos that person and that no one else is there. Works great. I had the same problem.

There are many trick to psy yourself Up for this...pratice in front of the mirror....pretend they have PJ on or in their undies...anything to keep from feeling scared.

i also feel really shy but you will face you fare sometime but this have you talk to he cos maybe you should then you might feel better.
