Welcome to another fascinating episode of Great Actor/Movie Sucked. Todays subject is Marlon Brando. For the first half of his career he was regarded as "the" actor of his generation. In my opinion, his was the best Mark Anthony of any Julius Casesar. He was the model punk in The Wild One ('What are you rebelling against?' 'What do you got?'); won an Oscar for On The Waterfront; The Ugly American, and a host of other films. Then, one day, he snapped. I guess it started with not personally accepting the Oscar for Godfather and having a woman talking about American Indian rights accepting it instead. Still, there was Last Tango In Paris and Apocalypse Now. But he became increasingly eccentric and his choice for roles grew more and more bad. So indeed he has been in some horrible movies. Name one.

The Island of Dr. Moreau was a pc of crud. Marlon Brando was one of the best actors ever.

"The Nightcomers"
A sexy film, sure, but the characters were thin, the plot was absolutely ridiculous, and none of the performances, including Brando's, was anything to brag about.
