look for a copy you can grab off a game you might have lying around? might be easy if ya have one or know somebody close by who does.

Get any motherboard CD or utilities CD and it will have DirectX full setup. When you download from net in any website, it will download only the primary setup and will need internet connection for installing further but the utilites CDs will have the complete setup.

to install direct x if u do not have an net connection then u can do a work find a game or a software that needs direct x support.for example for direct x 9oc (the latest)u can have from the game prince of persia(all series,fifa 2002 etc.)

This is the place to download. If you ever need to see what you are running (and lots of other stuff) go to your start menu, run, then type in dxdiag - this will tell you everything you want to know about your machine.

get it from microsoft ... im sure theres other places to download it just google directx9 download then copy the installer to a cd.... also if u have a recent game install disk its usually included ...

simply go on the internet and save the '.exe' file to a CD or memory stick or a floppy disk, then install on other computer.

well you can download direct X from microsoft and just save it to a removable drive and copy it to the other computer
