well yea it's okay but it depends on what you want and all eyes are going to be on the bride but the dress on the bridesmaid shouldn't be too short becuse she'd then look like the wedding wasn't important and it llook more like a negligee. no offense though if that offends you.

If both women, especially the bride, are happy with their choice of dresses, then it doesn't really matter what length they wear, as long as you aren't talking about a mid-thigh (mini) dress, which would look trashy at a wedding.

On a side note though, a bridesmaid in a knee length dress usually designates an informal or cocktail wedding. If the bride wants a more formal wedding, then her attendants should be in tea or ankle length dresses. Remember, what the attendants wear should be at least slightly more formal than the guest's attire to help them to stand out as part of the wedding party, not just your "average" guest.

i imagine i'd be truly dissatisfied if a targeted visitor at my wedding ceremony deliberately wore an same colour as my wedding ceremony social gathering. I do sense that's truly irrelevant. very last year I went to a wedding ceremony or maybe as the bridal social gathering were given there i realized that i grow to be donning the exact same colour because the BM's so after the ceremony I went and became yet another dress. in case you exceeded off to seem at a wedding ceremony donning an same colour yet did not do it on purpose it may well be one element yet to entice close that the BM's are donning turquoise and to purchase a dress that colour to placed on to the marriage is noticeably inconsiderate. on the different hand i'd fairly placed on outfits that bypass with my fiances outfits fairly than tournament it. What color is the tux that your fiance is donning? even if that's black, it may well be more suitable acceptable that you'll be able to placed on a black dress fairly than turquoise and get your self turquoise upload-ons. That way you and your fiance "tournament" yet you do not seem as if portion of the marriage social gathering.

Most wedding dresses are long, and your wedding dress is the thing that you will remember more that what the bride's maids were wearing. So who cares what the bride's maids wear! (as long as they don't outshine the bride)

I say it's your wedding you can choose how you want it. I think that is what makes beautiful weddings, the ones who are a little different and put their own unique twist in it!

Absolutely. A wedding is supposed to be how you want it, there's no rules saying you can't.

I don't see a problem with something like that. I think that would be cool and also very different from the norm.
