Tonight I am going to see a stage play. Unfortunately tomorrow, my family will lay to rest my 31 year old cousin. He had lung failure and was never well enough to receive a transplant. On Sunday, I plan on cleaning and on Monday, since I am off for MLK Day, I will go to the doctor.

Hunker down and try to stay warm. We have severe winter weather warning for ice, snow, and severe cold starting this evening and lasting through Monday . Can only hope the power doesn't go off for a long period, as I have an all electric home and no generator. Thankfully I have neighbors who will have heat if the power goes and I can camp out with them as necessary.

Going to stay in and have a DVD weekend,Got loads for Christmas and haven't had a chance to watch any of them yet,On Sunday i,m going to cook the best lamb roast with a nice bottle of wine and a box of chocolates. BLISS..

Clean house. Go to the farmer's market. Get a car wash. Have friends over. Sleep in. Go to a party. Monday clean the garage and have some repair work done. Drink.

WE ARE PLANNING ON STAYING IN WHERE IT WILL BE WARM SINCE THERE IS A BIG WINTER ADVISOR AS OFF TODAY AND THROUGH THE WEEKEND.
LAST TIME OUR GARAGE DOOR AND FRONT DOOR HAD AN INCH OF ICE COVERING IT SO WE HAD TO BREAK OUT THE BACKGATE TO GET TO THE FRONT TO BREAK THE ICE OFF TO GET VAN OUT. WE ALSO LOST OUR ELECTRIC TWICE FOR ABOUT 8 HOURS AND IT WAS EXTREMELY COLD, BUT I THINK THAT TODAY'S TEMP OF -8 DEGREES IS EVEN COLDER THAN THAT.
