I don't think it's one life in two bodies. But I agree that they connect spiritually. I have also seen identical twins connect telepathically. I have a fraternal twin sister and when we were younger we could feel each others pain and talk telepathically. But as we got older we sorta lost it. We still can read what each others thinking but it's not as strong. Remember, they were in the womb for 9 months, connecting spiritually because they couldn't talk before they were born.

Hopefully some people who are identical twins will answer your question. I have read of identical twins who always seem to know what the other is thinking, when the other is in trouble, etc. There have been recorded cases of identical twins who were separated at birth who made similar decisions throughout their lives, even to the appearance and personality of their spouses, number of children, career, etc. So there seems to be some sort of connection. I'll be interested to see if any identical twins answer your question and what they say.
