I have listed my husband's bike in several locations and in newspapers. Its a 2005 suzuki GS500 in great condition, well below normal asking value ($3750)

The ad above is just one I've listed (price is different). I need some pointers- never got so much as a question about it

I would try ebay. Make your auction a no-reserve auction and set the starting bid at the lowest price you would possible take. Make sure you say that it is a local cash sale only or people will want to send you personal checks and try and get you to ship the bike. Post lots of photos and as much detail as you know.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned craigslist yet. Craigslist has geography-specific listings - meaning that your item will be listed in your local area.

Ebay's ok, but fraught with scammers. It's a lot better to go for a local sale where you can see the buyer, and ideally get cash payment on the spot.

Both ebay and craigslist have good advice on how to avoid being scammed - read these before you accept any offers.

As you obviously have a computer I would take some digital photo's of the bike and put an add on Ebay.

Nice bike. I would put it in the Phoenix and Tucson newspapers for sure. If it comes down to it, call your Suzuki dealer and see what they'll give you for it. It's a nice bike.

I'm just thinking like a buyer here.
You say "Must sell by Jan 30th".
If I wanted to try and score a good deal, I would call you up on the 28th and make a low offer.
