I am only one
I am only one.
But still I am one.
I cannot do everything.
But still I can do something.
And because I cannot do everything.
I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.

Remember always that there are people who would have you believe that you would be better off rejecting your uniqueness and acting just like everyone else. There are people who would like to see you have the same wants as everyone else so that you'll be interested in buying their products or services. You are not here, though, to conform to what others want you to be--you are here to be yourself, to share your unique and special gifts with the people who are a part of your life. Do not distress yourself with imaginings of "what you should be" or "where you should be" or "what you should be accomplishing." Instead, look at your life and look for the opportunities that are there for you to share your gifts and your unique perspective on life with others.

I think 'emotional intelligence' is a good course of study. Studies have shown that people with only average intellect but high emotional intelligence become very successful in life, no matter what other test scores or even technical skills they may possess.
Researchers have concluded that people who manage their own feelings well and deal effectively with others are more likely to live content lives. Plus, happy people are more apt to retain information and do so more effectively than dissatisfied people.

knowledge for the sake of it is of no use.. knowledge should be achieved with a purpose for a reason and it should be pertinent to something.. that is good knowledge. for eg for me knowing how a certain type of bacteria under sea reproduces is useless, it serves no purpose. it wastes time to collect useless facts...
