check out the ABANA website: http://www.abana.org/
check if the local ABANA chapter is reasonably close to where you live and if so contact them. They also have a list of schools on their website (check educational resources)

Also search the Anvilfire website, they have some useful stuff on there: http://www.anvilfire.com/

If you already have a number of skills you can also look if you find a local blacksmith who lets you help out. Generally that's not that easy, for time is indeed money for them, but if don't mind helping with tedious jobs and don't ask for much of a salary (or try internship first) somebody may give it a go. And once they see that you can do the easy stuff they will let you do/teach you more difficult things.

If you have some money to spend, there are a number of craft schools which offer blacksmithing courses which are just a couple of days long to maybe a week long. Just type blacksmithing classes into google and you will find a bunch of options, though the ABANA website will already give you plenty of schools to look into.

And if you haven't done that yet, check for blacksmithing books and read through them and use them as source of knowledge and inspiration. There are a bunch out there...
