Why women wear their hair long?

they think its part of their youth that makes them feel young. they think they look 16 from behind,turn around, and its just mutton dressed as lamb. the few older women who i know have their hair long,havent got a style or anything,just hangs down their back like a wispy blanket of rats tails!!

I'm a bloke. I like women with long hair, the longer the better to as far as the bottom, and I suspect most men do, providing it is well kept - that's the difficulty.

Ask the other way round. Long hair needs a lot of looking after. It can be a problem in many occupations, and dangerous if the woman is working with machinery. Long hair is unforgiving to those who wish to disguise ageing. Also, I believe mothers find that young babies have an instinct to grab their hair really hard and it's painful. Those, together with the vested interests of hairdressers, are the quite sensible reasons why our lady friends and partners more often than not don't wear their hair how we really like it.

well a really long time ago both men and women had long hair. It's only been somewhere around a few hundred years since men started cutting their hair. I guess it's to distinguish the difference between guys and girls. But today some guys have long hair and some girls have long hair. I guess it's a matter of preference. i prefer my hair long because you have a lot more style options. If it's short(depending how short) you may not have as many stlying options.

Actually the one who said about it not want the hair being in the soup, if it was that long it wouldnt be able to get in because of its heavyness. If it was just under the shoulders then it could.
Anyway I like long hair because my hair curls in the rain and when its short then I would look like a boy or whatever. So :P

Pheromones....

When a woman flicks her hair it sends pheromones around which attracts men. The longer the hair, the further you can flick your pheromones. It's also the reason why women are shorter (sometimes), then they can stand directly under a mans nostrils.

Also, you can do more styles with long hair, it makes you look more feminine and, if you are in a hurry, you can tie it up.

Why do women wear their hair short? It's all in who you are and how you like your hair. I have always had my hair long, because it's best suited for me, plus I find it easier to take care of.

It is quite feminine to have long hair and although some guys have long hair and some women have short hair. It is just traditional for women to have long hair..........i can't really answer it.

People do what seems to suit them best or what they are comfortable. My hair is short and spiked. On the few occasions I have let mine grow long I haven't enjoyed it - I just don't think that my hair works well as long hair.

I saw a Chinese lady once whose hair was so long it touched the ground and she was standing up at the time, and it did look nice. I wouldn't like to find one in my soup though.

Mine's just about grown long enough to tie it back. I find you can do more with it when it's longer. I also enjoy not having to wash it so much, and being able to just tie it back in the morning and therefore get a lie-in!!!
