I'm not sure, but it seems that God is punishing him with deafness, obesity, drug addiction, multiple arrests, multiple failed marriages, etc.

Rush is reportedly on an interest only loan from God.
He has a 3 year fixed and then a 1% cap every year until 2016, where it maxes out at 14%
He also has a pre-pay penalty of 6 months interest until 2010

I find this question offensive to the Almighty. It implies God could only spare diseased, bigotted, hypocritical, reactionary "talent" to give to a fat, loudmouthed moron with fewer scruples than prescription bottles, or that the Almighty would want any of this so called talent "back" at the end of the loan period.
