interesting

she should change "everything will be white" to "everything will be alright"

children are quite simple and it's a very simple song so it would be good for a lullaby.

I liked everything about it, except the last word Hopefully.
Don't get me wrong, I am all for hope, but how it is place there at the end, it sounds like all of what the writer has written at the beginning, about the good feelings and the high hopes for a bright tomorrow she has lied, and that she is not really sure after all what tomorrow will bring.. unfortunately to me at the end the lullaby sounds defeating..not a good lesson to teach a little one..

How does the tune go? The words to a lullaby aren't quite as important as the tune. From what I'm imagining, it seems to work quite well =)

Actually, I'd be a bit wary of:

"the sun will come out tomorrow"

Thats a line from a song from Annie... a very famous one. That line might need to be reworked, cos every time I read that line, I go into the Annie tune, "The sun will come out.... tomorrow.. betcha bottom dollar that tomorrow...." etc.

your friend is very talented she should try to make a book of lullabies for kids. and for who ever thinks that the phrase"everything will be white" is racist undoubtly must be too immature to interpet what she was saying.
