your baby might be suffering from a little bit of colic, the extreme end of normal crying behavior in a baby between 3 weeks and 3 months of age. Holding her and soft baby massage may be the only way to comfort her, a warm bath and a massage with some lavender johnson and johnsons lotion works for my baby girl. depending on her milk, formula or breast milk, she may be a little gassy which can also cause cramping discomfort in her tummy. Rub her tummy and she should feel better. Baby's feel warmer than adults so unless you see other signs of illness such as coughing and sneezing or congestion, you should not be concerned. Get another thermometer they are not that expensive. If she does not settle after you have trie dsome of the things mentioned and your mind is still not at ease, consult your physician. I am not a dr. I am just telling what works for me.

First thing you do is relax. I know its easier said then done when its your children but you have to for their sake. Not to be to critical but alway make sure that there a functioning batters in all life saving equipment. It sounds like phenomena to me. I am not a doctor but my brother had the same symptoms a couple years back. You need to take the baby to the hospital immediate at least to see if the baby has a fever.

ok something in case you've accessible on your kitchen is olive oil. it somewhat works wonders on soothing ear infections. better yet in case you could soak some in a clove or 2 of garlic and then take the garlic out. Garlic is yet another "ask your self" on ear infections now to not indicate different issues. it is okay to warmth the olive oil a touch yet be sure its not too warm. yet some drops in each and each and every ear as mandatory.both onion and garlic are organic antibiotics and are very efficient in killing micro organism and viruses. warmth garlic oil utilized contained in the ear will treatment infections, to boot as ease discomfort. you could also position a small garlic clove contained in the ear and go away it for an hour or so for earaches and infections. i have tried both techniques with our childrens (a lengthy time period 2 years and 9 months) and positioned them to be very efficient treatments!! As for soothing the belongings you're doing is impressive. upload a very good rubdown to get his body to relax and get his circulate going. My babies love lavender oil massages. Lavender is likewise calming. do not supply a lot idea to the fever till it receives somewhat intense. basically let it do it is job.

1st buy a new thermometer or batteries for your old one.

2nd She is uncomfortable for a reason, she may have an ear infection or head cold.

*One thing the baby books do not let you know-Babies are nose breathers, they never breathe from their mouths so make sure her nose is always clear.

It could be anything or nothing. I used to be able to feel my kids forhead and tell you if they had a fever or not and if it was over 102 or not! You'll get the hang of it with time! You may have to wait for other symptoms to show, to know if anything is really wrong or not. Use your instincts and you'll worry less! Best of luck and Congrats!

Take her to the doctor and If his/hers office is not open take her to the ER. Six weeks is too young to wait getting it taken care of. Good Luck

I was always overly cautious with my kids. I would take her to the doctor, just to check her out.
