I heard some guy on T.V. trying to sell one of those you don't need a doctor to cure yourself books. He said that duct tape would remove warts. I have one that I have been trying to get rid of for years. I would really like to if this works.

It's not that the duct tape removes the warts per say, it's the fact that you are prevent the air from getting to it. If you are going to try it, you need to make sure that you completely seal the tape around the wart to prevent air from getting to it. When I was younger I had three warts on my body, all on one hand. One on the wrist, one on my pinky and one on the palm. I had the one on my palm treated by a doctor. I choose the acid and when the doctor was debrided it to prepare it for the acid he accidentially sliced it in the middle. Normally the acid treatment takes about a month to work but because of this slice the acid got below the wart and as well as the top and it was gone in about a week. Now when this happened the other two just went away. Try the tape it may or may not work or just got to the doctor and get rid of it that way. The tape takes a long time. Or try compound W and the tape, I have seen that work too, just make sure you have a good seal on it and keep it dry.

Warts are a fungus.
MSM and H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) are oxygenators.
Fungus doesn't do well with lots of oxygen.

MSM is made from DMSO, which I once (a year ago) put on a wart. After a few days the wart crumbled & fell off when I felt it, leaving new pink skin behind. No wart grew back. (A friend had had the same results with a wart she'd had.) I suggest MSM instead of DMSO, as it is safer to use. You can dilute it in water, or buy it in a cream. (I dilute mine in water.)

It doesn't hurt to try... But if you have been trying for years, and compound W does not work for you, try this:
make a paste of neem oil and turmeric powder. Apply and cover with a bandaid daily. (the paste is very very staining)
Additionally take 3 neem bark or leaf capsules per day, plus 1 turmeric, 1 ginger and 1 cinnamon until the wart is gone.

It does work. you should put it on the wart, leave it in place and change the tape every other day or so. Be careful letting the tape have contact with healthy skin as that skin can become irritated and break down.

I have never heard of that but i do know that garlic oil and banana peel worl. Every night put some garlic oil and a piece of banana peel on the wart, secure with gauze and tape and sleep with it. in the morning remove, repeat every night until gone. It worked for me multiple times.

It does work for some people. It irritates the wart, and causes your body's own defense mechanisms to attack it. It acts pretty much the same way those burning liquids work, that they sell to remove warts.

I also heard if you take a piece of banana peel, the outside against the wart, it helps remove it too. I did not try it but read about it.

try tea tree oil on a q tip, gently with a swiping motion across the top,you will see the wart rise up from your skin and see black seeds stuck in the cotton of the q tip,you need to do it for a few minutes at a time.
