Help - 13 emails already.How do I stop the blighters? change my settings I know but where?

You need to log into your account - go to where your questions are posted...right underneath where your points are displayed is "Edit profile". In this window you can check off the appropriate box not to receive the emails.

Sign in and click on your picture (near the top left of the page). You should be taken to another page where there will be an option that says "Edit My Info". Scroll down the page to "Email Settings" and uncheck both boxes to make sure you get no email at all if that's what you prefer.

You have to wait a few hours than choose the best answer.
If you don't want the emails than after you type your question click the check mark at the bottom that says notify me when answered.

Next time you post a question, uncheck the box that says send an email for each response.

Unclick the ticked box under categories.

When asking the question you have an option of being notified by email of your answers - did you tick that box. remember this for your next question. They will stop shortly

When you ask a question, you can uncheck the box that has the answers emails to you. Once it has been asked, you can't undo it from sending you the answers that you recieve

You click on your name next to your avatar and then you will find all the settings etc. not sure if you will stop answers for your present question, but if you do the Best Answer, maybe it will stop.

whenever you are just about to submit a question, there is a checkbox that says :
Notify me by email when I recieve answers
or something along those lines
anyway, all you have to do is uncheck that box before you submit a question.

either un tick the box or chose a best answer to your question, that way your question will be resolved and you will stop getting emails
