Everyone wants to ban religion everywhere, yet when a teacher loests someone, people want to give them huge raises?
At least with religion, you have the Choice not to expose your kids if you do not want to, unfortunately kids HAVE to go to school.

I haven't heard of a teacher molesting someone and people wanting to give him (or her) a raise. You'll have to be more specific. I haven't heard of anyone wanting to ban Religion, either. The thing is, the Catholic Church is a huge organization with a lot of people contributing to it. A few priests and bishops made some huge and damaging mistakes many years ago. A person can claim he or she was molested and claim huge damages in a huge lawsuit. It's a lot easier to collect a few million bucks from the Catholic Church than from Uncle Bubba or some anonymous person that picked you up when you were hitchhiking back in the 70s.
