how i can repair my lcd? it became dark without any changing of its settings.?

i push fn with f8 and i tried to change some settings but it doesnt work as well, do u think it needs to repair some hardware on my lcd?

Plug it into other computer to confirm.
You would have no problem doing that because it light.
If it does not show in others computer, it time to send in for repair.

i think it is likely that the Fluorescent tubes behind the LCD screen has died, try calling the service centre to get it replaced. if not under warranty, it is likely to be ex and might be more cost efficient to get a new monitor
