is it possible that your car stereo has an CD mp3 player?
normally all music to download on the net is in mp3 format... .
below link is a free piece of software allowing you to convert from mp3 to wav (wav files are what play in your `normal` home stereos)... .
good luck and email me if you can to advise how you get on... .

1. What format are your music files in? If its MP3 for instance, it may be that only you car stereo is able to play MP3 files.
Check what formats your players are compatible with, and change the format of your music files accordingly.
2. It can also depend on wether you are using CD-R or CD-RW discs. Some players cannot play CD-RW discs.
Use CD-R discs as these are more likely to play on all your systems.
Hope this helps...???

Could possibly be due to the format the music is in. Some of the newer CD players (especially in newer vehicles) can recognize multiple formats (mp3, wmvs, mp4, etc) whereas older players cannot. Check and see what format you're burning the tracks to the disc. You might want to look up the models of the other CD players to see what formats they take. You can always download free convertors to convert from one format to another prior to burning (ex: download music in WMV format and CD player only plays MP3 formats).

download Nero, it converts perfectly any type of song video etc into DVD or CD format which works in 99% of players. I have been using it now since version 5 and now on 7. AND I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SUCCESSFUL WITH IT

if you want the disc to play MP3's, WMA etc through your pc, then make sure the files you are burning are mp3's and burn as a data disc NOT audio disc.
Hope this helps

could be simply the discs you have burned them on not compatible with your players, check it out or try different discs that you know play on your house players.
