Could 3 different types of tests be wrong? Is my level not high enough to show up in the blood? I do not use protection because my husband and I do want a child.

HPT can read faulty negatives, but blood tests are very accurate. I really don't think you are pregnant.

All of the home tests you took you say were faint--is it possible you were just seeing either an evaporation line or the little indentation in the test where a positive would be? If you have to hold the stick a certain way or in bright light just to see the line then it's negative. Blood is much more accurate than home tests.

If your blood test was negative then I would say you are not pregnant. You could have a hormonal problem that is giving you the faint positives on the home preganancy test.

Blood tests are far more accurate than urine tests....and they also show up positive sooner than urine. Its quite possible your just getting falty tests and actually seeing evaporation lines. Try a different brand test (preferably a digital) in a week...if the lines are not any darker or the test is just negative and your period is still late go for another blood test.

I took 4 home tests - 2 different brands. They all came up negative. It wasn't until I went to the doc that I got a positive. Apparently, my hormone (HCG) levels were too low for the home tests to detect. Perhaps this is the same with you.

Good luck!

do a blood test so you can know for sure whats going on cause i took a urine test and it showed postive but then i ended not pregnant so a blood test is the better way to go

I suggest going to the doctor and getting a real pregnancy test, it is much more definative then the "pee on the stick" kind.

Good luck! (hopefully 9 months from now you will be asking baby questions!!)
