only if you were strictly forbidden to do so. i thnk your parents may not want you in live chat rooms because of the dangers out there. a lot of ppl meet ppl online become buddies, etc and you really have no idea who's on the other side.

just please do not meet any of these ppl. go ahead, chat, etc. but do not give out personally info- phone #, address, school, work place, etc.

You really need to ask your parents first as if they find out it will be twice as hard on you. When you tell your parents let them know that you are being safe, all parents wont to know is that there kids are responsible to hand something like that.If you are responsible than it should not be a problem.Talk to your parents and then let them know how responsible you are while talking to people on Internet, and never meet up with people from Internet, unless your parents are there with you.

Depends how old you are and who you're talking to. I would be honest with your parents. There's no harm in talking to people online. The problem is talking to creeps or presenting yourself as something you're not. Be honest about yourself and be honest with your parents. They'll trust you more and give you the respect and privacy you've earned.

If you're 15 or younger talking to someone who is 45 about where you're going to meet to have sex, than it's a problem... otherwise... who cares?

it depends on what yall are talking about. If it is something that you have to hide from your parents you shouldn't be doing it.
