I have a laptop, when I connect to the Internet in my office It connects automatically, however, when I connect from my home I have to go to the TCP/IP connection properties and enter the IP address and the DNS codes, how can I keep those numbers saved so that I could activate and deactivate them just with a click or a shortcut?

Well, unless you find a program to do it for you, you really only have one option. Windows XP has the netsh command, which allows you to change your IP address and other settings from the command line. The reference below goes into more detail about hwo to do this and how to automate it. Once you have learned how to automate the changes from the command line, you could use a batch script (.bat file with the command in it) and create a shortcut on your desktop to that batch file (or physically copy the batch file there).

Create a batch file for each of the locations. Then, with a click, you can change your settings.
