I am so sorry that this happened to you. If indeed the fetus does not have a heartbeat, will the doctor do a D&C or just let you miscarry naturally? The reason I'm asking is that if they go ahead and do a D&C, they can recover the fetus and do some testing on it. They should be able to see if the baby was normal, or perhaps why this keeps happening. The same thing happened to me twice (although I didn't go as far as you did) so I know how it feels. It is really frustrating and really sad. Three months is a long time! If you're older (35 or older), your eggs are not quite as good, so this happens more often.

It happened to me before and I was 2 months pregnant. It did impact on me tremendously then I lost my baby. 5 months later I was pregnant again and I had a beautiful baby after that. Now she is 15 years old. The doctor told me that the lost baby did not form right and I was 35 years old. At the same time I was too upset to ask. I was too scare and felt very uncertain about my future. I felt I was alone and I urge you to get help and support. Make urgent appointment right away and the doctor can check and recheck again. You never know because, science is progress and only your doctor can answer better. Thank you for asking this question and I wish you the best.

Ultrasound has been round for the previous 30 years and by no skill in simple terms interior the U. S. there hasn't ever been a case or learn that has shown a toddler born with issues via an ultrasound. 30 years is my entire existence time!!! human beings were careful of it way some time previous it the day like at the same time as my mom replaced into preg. with me even then they did them in simple terms not as commonly not because they harmed the children yet because it replaced into soo new and they did not recognize for confident what if any lengthy time period issues it ought to reason. you've not had any extra ultrasounds than the different pregnant women and their children are high-quality so why does not yours be. i'm 21 weeks w/ #2 and extreme threat I actual have had about 15 extremely sounds already and my toddler is high-quality relax until eventually a record. tells you that is not threat-free you've not something to be bothered about.

When you say that it has happened twice do you mean two separate times or twice in a row? If it's happened two seperate times there are several factors that could affect the inability of the doppler to pick up the sound. The way the baby is positioned in the womb is a primary factor..the way the umbilical cord is lying is another. I am sure your doctor will have the best answers to put your mind at ease. He is certainly the one you should be asking this question to. Now call him and ask!!

you should talk to your doctor about that, since he is the one who examines you he is best able to tell you why such things are going on.
