If everybody is scared because of global warming then why dont we do anything about it?

there has been late hibernating bears very warm winters and a hole lot of other stuff but we are just sitting here and complaining and not doing anything about it we are just making it worse

Saying that it is caused by man, is a bunch of crap!!
IF just one of these crybaby liberals can explain to me what made the ice melt a billion years ago when there was no pollution by man I might be more interested. The fact is, the earth has been going through periods of hotter, and colder climate since the beginning of time. It has nothing to do with man's pollution, it is just the natural cycle of things, PERIOD.

I can't speak 4 everyone. We R concerned about global warming. A couple of things to think about. Weather runs in cycles. It got real warm in the mid to late 1800's. As far as the ozone layer compare that to d dent in your car. The dent can be fixed in time. The ozone layer, we have to stop releasing harmful chemicals into the atmosphere. It will not fix the damage done but will stop further damage. As long as we produce fuel, plastics & other things we need that have to be refined we will keep on damaging the atmosphere. This is why the rate the quality of air. When it is at a poor level they put a band aid on it by emission test. We R destroying uor planet. That is the bottom line. Progress is what it is called. I'm trying gto tell people that we don't have free will and we don't MAKE choices.....There is something higher that got this place under control.......We are just puppets. I ask myself the same question about a lot of things people do. But we have been so brain washed to think that we have control of everything and the though of not having control makes many people angry. Get over it.

if you were on a cruise ship and it were sinking would you try and save it or do what everybody else is doing and look out for yourself and leave on a lifeboat like they are? i think we realize the problem but its just easier to go about our life like we have been doing becuase its already habit.

The earth will remain. Global warming is how the earth deals with the pollution. Eventually it will make it impossible for us to survive, but ultimately the earth will continue, and eventually what survived, along with new life, will take over.

Money will always rule the world. Not preservation or rationality. Get used to it.

Eric, the first answerer, needs to get a clue. America is actually, for its size, the least to contribute to global pollution. Places half our size, like china, and even places as small as the UK, in comparison produce far more pollutants per their area and size.
