It is called Dixie, or Look Away, Dixieland. It was the "national" anthem of the confedersah. Elvis would often riff on it in live performances.

There is an Elvis song called Cotton Candy Land. Maybe that's it.

The Elvis song is called "An American Trilogy" and is a combination/medley of the songs "Dixie", "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" and "Hush Little Baby".

The song is called "American Trilogy." It was a Combination of Dixie/Battle Hymn of the Republic/All My Trials.

Oh I wish I was in the land of cotton
Old times there are not forgotten
Look away, look away, look away, Dixieland

(Oh I wish I was in Dixie, away, away)
(In Dixieland I'll take my stand to live and die in Dixie)

For Dixieland is where I was born
Early Lord one frosty morn
Look away, look away, look away, Dixieland

Glory, glory hallelujah
Glory, glory hallelujah
Glory, glory hallelu--jah
His truth is marching o---n

So hush little baby, don't you cry
You know your daddy's, bound to die
But a--ll my trials Lord, will soon be over

Glory, glory hallelu--jah
His truth is marching o---n
His truth is marching o---n

DIXIELAND....

O, I wish I was in the land of cotton
Old times there are not forgotten
Look away! Look away!
Look away! Dixie Land.

In Dixie Land where I was born in
Early on one frosty mornin'
Look away! Look away!
Look away! Dixie Land.

Chorus:
O, I wish I was in Dixie!
Hooray! Hooray!
In Dixie Land I'll take my stand
To live and die in Dixie
Away, away,
Away down south in Dixie!

Old Missus marry Will, the weaver,
William was a gay deceiver
Look away! Look away!
Look away! Dixie Land.

But when he put his arm around her
He smiled as fierce as a forty pounder
Look away! Look away!
Look away! Dixie Land.

Chorus:
O, I wish I was in Dixie!
Hooray! Hooray!
In Dixie Land I'll take my stand
To live and die in Dixie
Away, away,
Away down south in Dixie!

His face was sharp as a butcher's cleaver
But that did not seem to grieve her
Look away! Look away!
Look away! Dixie Land.
Old Missus acted the foolish part
And died for a man that broke her heart
Look away! Look away!
Look away! Dixie Land.

Chorus:
O, I wish I was in Dixie!
Hooray! Hooray!
In Dixie Land I'll take my stand
To live and die in Dixie
Away, away,
Away down south in Dixie!
