Hi,
I was wondering if anybody thinks that marriage is the beginning of true love becasue in the dating period the experience of being with your partner is much more exciting, you get to see them less often so the anticipation builds, we tend to look really nice and show are best atributes, in other words it doesnt take much work .
But in marriage you actually have a partner for life you live every single day with, the negative sides are more obvious, and the positive sides are usually taken for granted. So this is the time when true love (inconditional love) has to happen in order for the marriage to last a life time. This is the time when you have to concentrate on doing loving things every day that dont come natural, in other words you have to nurture the relationship day by day, and it takes work, we need to prioritize our husbands/wives.
I was also wondering if you think that the love you feel for your husband becomes deeper and deeper year by year?

Hello. i agree with the view that marriage can be the beginning or true love, while dating, you are out to impress your partner. each and evry move is planned and calculated, so as not at offend your lover. Things change with marriage. the wedding vows and ceremonies create a kind of security in ur mind, a feeling that you have someone to rely on. sure, it is a hard thing to make a successful marriage, but u feel that it is worth the effort. soon you find the task of nurturing relations and prioritizing coming naturally to u. my parents' marriage was arranged by their families, their love started after the marriage. Now it has been 30 yrs since their marriage, and their love seems to be only increasing.

Marriage is not the beginning of true love knowing the right person to marry and to spend the rest of your life with is.... True love is what you make it to be and if you and your partner are truely comitted to and in love with each other or not. If you truley love each other it will stand the test of time through good times looks and bad times and all.... If we work at our marriage and relationships every day they will be successful! Life and marriage is what you make of it! I know that my love and feelings become deeper each day and year with my loving husband. No marriage is perfect but so is neither person perfect... That is why it takes work. But marriage is beautiful and great if you choose to make it that way.

Marriage is the beginning of having a cook, maid, and prostitute at home every night when you get back from work.
