You're not alone. All baseball fans who believe in the integrity of the game know and understand that nothing can be achieved by cheating. I'm sure that even if Bonds surpasses Aaron's mark of 755 home runs, few if any will regard his total as the real record. Barry Bond's numbers are bogus and hopefully he will never be allowed into baseballs hall of fame. He is a disgrace to baseball and should never be allowed to play another game.
He has lied to everyone about everything. He lets Greg Anderson sit in jail instead of telling the truth about BALCO. He should be in jail, not Anderson. Now he has thrown a teammate under the bus while lying about taking "Speed". The Giants should really reconsider his pending contract and not sign him.

You people are all morons. Complete, full morons. What steroid test has he ever failed? NONE. This freaking country was built on the fact that you have to be PROVEN guilty, not because it's the popular thing to do. What has he done to deserve this? Got bigger, stronger, and improved his game. It is a medical fact that you get strongest in your mid thirties. It is no coincidence that this is the period of his life that he bulked up the most.
What do you think happens if you eat a perfect diet, with trainers taking every possible measurement to get the perfect supplementation into your body everyday. You get bigger and stronger beyond your wildest dreams. He worked his *** off. He deserved everything he got.
You can hate Barry Bonds for being a jerk, for not being the guy everyone wants him to be. but you can not hate Barry Bonds for cheating, because a sport that has tried to catch him constantly, has never been able to do anything, because he has passed every drug test. Who should be arrested are the reporters who ILLEGALY wrote a book based on grand jury testimony and those people should spend alot of time in jail. Whoever talks deserves to be punished.
I don't even like Barry bonds. I am an Indians fan. But I respect him for what he is, the greatest player to ever where cleats.

I don't want to see him pass Hank Aaron. Except Giants fans, most people don't. You are not the only one. I don't respect him at all. He is a liar, cheater and acts like an ******. He is a very unlikeable guy on top of ruining the integrity of baseball by cheating. He is a cancer to baseball and sports in general. I don't think what you are saying is wrong, there are probably people who wish even worse things on him. So, I don't want to see him pass Hank. I was sick to my stomach seeing him pass Babe Ruth. And what is also screwed up is that there are actually people who said that Ruth's records are tainted because he never faced any African American pitchers, which is one of the dumbest things someone can say. Screw Bonds, he should be banned for life.

U not only one. I have no respect for them that has tried to kill the game I love and played for 25 yrs. I had my shot at the pros and became injured , had 3 elbow & 1 back surgury thta ended my career, so I fell nothing for the man. I could really careless what they take or put in their bodies to perform, it is a business like any other, think of how many big time CEO, VPs take drugs to perform at thier jobs don't hear to much on that, heck what about Movie stars that do drugs I bet ya still watch there Movies, Things are different now then the was 20-30-40 years ago in the game but you still have to play it like everyone else. Babe Ruth played half his career drunk. Ty Cobb was theanest SOB there ever was but you can not take the heart away fro mthe way he played. I really do not see in breaking hanks record myself to much wrong with him, I don't care how good you are you still have to play the game. If ya gonna start seperating records go back seperate them all look at Ruth-Maris 60-61 took more games so did he break it ? If the records and games and all equations equal then are the records equal??? Think on that.....

I agree with you. I can't help but to believe the only reason Barry is playing is to get the record, and I think that its sad that is the only reason he is playing. You never hear him talking about winning, improving the team, or making it to the series. I bet Hank didn't even have setting the record on his mind when he broke it. I don't wish injury on Barry. No athlete deserves that. Although, its starting to look like injury is the only thing keeping him from it.

In the interest of fair and full disclosure, let me say up front that I've always hated Barry Bonds....so consider my opinion in that light.
Bonds has always been an outstanding player and a jerk. It's no coincidence that...of all the people in baseball who hate him the most...a large percentage of them are his former and current teammates.
I think it always bothered him that Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa both got so much publicity a few years back. Their exploits overshadowed Barry, and it pissed him off...so he started on the juice and stayed on it. (He claims he used a bunch of stuff without knowing what it was...and I believe that about as much as HE does.)
Personally, I'd like to see him get indicted and convicted for perjury. Henry Aaron was always a hero of mine. He was a great baseball player...to this day his all around skills are under-rated, I think...and he had to face tremendous obstacles on his way to setting the record.
If his record is ever surpassed, I'd hate to see it done by a piece of sh*t like Barry Bonds.
But Babe Ruth was bascially a womanizing drunk...and he held the record for a long time. No matter what happens, baseball will survive it.

No I don't want him to beat Hammerin' Hank in the home run department but he won't be able to beat another record of the Hammer as will no one. The RBI dep. is owned by Henry. He has way more than Bonds. GO BRAVES!!!!

I doubt that Barry Bonds will be able to surpass Hank Aaron's record, becuase of his drug ravaged body, in addition to the injuries he received in the past.
