been ttc for over 3 years and now my test says i am preg. I was sooo happy. I have dreamt of this day. I hope I dont go to the doc and he says no your not preg then I will be soooo upset. So is this really true I mean is this happening right now. My fiance is soo happy tooo. any comments please reply

Congratulations! I'm so pleased for you. It must have been a long wait to see that BFP!!!
Try not to worry too much, it is very rare to get a false positive on tests. If you are that worried, take another hpt, but to be honest i'd be too scared to do that too.
I've been trying for 2 months now and am currently in the two week wait. I can't wait to test but am also very nervous as I don't want a negative!
Wow, its really nice to hear about people when they finally get that positive. I hope everything goes well for you and try to keep us posted with other questions. Let us know how your appointment goes.

Oh sweetie I am so excited and happy for you! Yes it is surreal but if came out positive it is positive! if it makes you feel better you can go to the Dollar Store and get a bunch of tests (like 10 for $10) then take them all just so you can reassure yourself LOL You are blessed! i hope you an uneventful and happy pregnancy! Enjoy this new miracle in your life!

congratuations! i tried for years too, and never got pregnant...and when i finally got a positive test...i couldnt believe it either. i said the same thing to my husband at the doctors..that it would be negative. but it wasn't. it is completely normal to have these worries when you have been trying for so long with no results i have a beautiful 7 month old baby girl now...if the test said positive, it probably is...usually it will say negative if you really are, but i have not heard of it saying positive when you aren't. good luck and you will be a great mom

Wow, what a great way to start the year off! Congratulations! Like others have said, positive is positive. I'm jealous though because my doctor won't see me until next month and I'm already 5 or so weeks. Yay for you!

well first of all CONGRATS! the odds of getting a false positive is rare...but it does happen. If you truley are worried then I would say dont get your hopes up...that way you wont be that let down. But chances are it is correct. good luck with everything.
