My hamster bities me and she fights with her sister alot.
They are Dwarf hamsters. The one that bites climbs ot the top of the cage and nibbles at the bars. when i stick my hand in there it bites me and the other one only nibbles or doesnt bite. They are like acrobats or something because they either sleep or you see them on the cage climbing around.

Your hamster probably gets nervous and bites because it thinks your going to hurt him. In the wild hamsters are food for allot of birds. They probably see your hand or its shadow and think its something swooping down to catch them. Try scooping them from underneath rather than grabbing them from above.

If your hamsters are fighting alot with each other you should separate them now. You may have gotten them as a pair, as babies and young adults, they get along. But as adults they will fight until one of them is seriously injured or dead. This is just how hamsters are. As for them biting you, well, thats just how hamsters are too, unfortunately. Some of them are nippier than others. Ideally you should separate them, they wont be dissapointed, obviously they dont seem to enjoy the others company any more.

Some dwarf hamsters just have a bad personality. I notice this more among dwarf hamsters than among the other kinds of hamsters.I would not keep any pet that bites.

they want to come out and play, get them an exercise ball at petsmart, petco, or target, and let them run around the house, or on your bed, or room where it is safe, they bite til you handle them alot, or if they smell food, wash your hands before and after playing with them.

It may bite you because it feels you are threatning its space or that it may not like the conditions it is sleeping in.
