I think she's a has-been attention whore who is doing everything she can to remain in the public eye, so from that aspect, I think she's getting too much publicity.
However, I feel the "heat" she is getting, as you describe it, is justified. I think it's totally inappropriate (and gross) that she is going about pantyless in short skirts that hide nothing. It's just low class and trashy - especially since she is the mother of two young children.

I think so. We should direct our attention to what Mr Bush is doing in Iraq right now rather than who is not wearing underwear. People are using some very crude and misogynistic language towards Britney. Remember she is someone's daughter, sister and a mom. How would you like your family member to be treated like that? Clearly she has some alcohol and behavioral issues that are out of control right now. Give the poor woman some compassion instead of all this 'heat', people. And stop buying the damn magazines that make money out of people's sad mistakes.

She's not getting too much heat for not wearing them. It's flashing a camera that I think people have a problem with.

If you're lucky, your daughters and grand-daughters will be able walk around bottom-less, completely visible (transparent-wear?), and everyone will be able to point to Britney as a pioneer for women's rights. If you're OK with that, then you could say "yup", too much heat.
If you're not OK with that, like me, than I say; If you can't take the heat, leave your close on.

No, not only is she famous, so she knows people are watching, but the way she got out of that car, it was like she wanted everyone to see that. She is a mommy now, is that the impression she wants to put out there?

Nah, she asked for it. When you're that famous you know how people are going to react to every little thing you do. She knew and she wanted the attention.
