I've been running a dehumidifier, but there's gotta be a better solution. (everytime I open the door for the dog, the water sloshes out onto the carpet) Should there not be drainage from the track?

There should be small holes on the exterior of the track for drainage. You should check and see if they are plugged up with debris. If there aren't any holes in the track then you should drill some 1/8" holes on the outside of the track along the bottom to allow drainage.

The track should have small holes drilled in it by the manufacturer fro drainage.

First check to see that the holes aren't blocked by pet hair and general dirt and debris for everyday use.

If there are no holes, drill 1/8 or better 1/4 inch hole at the right and left side of the track and maybe in in the middle for extra drainage.

There should be. First make sure that the track is free of debris, including mud / dirt. Then if you still have the problem, you can drill very small (1/8") holes in about 3 or 4 spots at the very bottom of the track, on the outside.

this should have been installed with 'weep holes' which are small holes in the track that allow for the water to seep through.
