I've been in some man.homes and the walls look and feel like they're only 4 inches wide and when you walk you can hear your steps. I've got 3 boys and I just don't know if a manuf.home could withstand them. My mother has a man.home/trailer and that's where am getting my experience. Is hers just on the lower end of the market? Are manuf. homes as sturdy as a stick built/brick home?

Its true that manufactured homes depreciate their value but also I have seen some very well made and put together manufactured homes and They have come a long way. If you are looking to save money then that is would be your choice.

Now brick homes are also nice as well. They are sturdy and for the most part can withstand allot and their value appreciate + or - depending on the market but for the most part is still a good deal.

Now if you are already in a home ( BRICK ) why are you wanting to move? I myself like the idea of a home on a couple of acres myself.

stay in the brick home. older homes are built much better than the new homes/manufactured homes. plus the value of the brick home will continue to go up, wheras the manufactured home will not.
