Really you'd have to look up the numbers. I don't mean STATS type but numbers against good teams. What does Quinn have? Mostly numbers against Service Academies. Yeah they have put up some good teams once in awhile. Yeah there is tradition as to why Notre Dame plays them. Seriously though most of those guys wouldn't get in the NFL and they aren't playing to get there. So look at his numbers when you take those out mostly. I think Smith showed he can play in general. Yeah he had a bad game in the National Championship BUT as a general rule he wasn't that bad. Oh and his team beat Brady Quinn's team in the 2005-06 season. So Ohio State was Big Ten Co-Champions, one loss to Penn State which should have been undefeated that year, and then Big Ten Champs. I think his last two years tell you something. I say he is better then Quinn and take the risk on the size. I think Russel goes before them. I don't really know him but I'm going by the talk. Leak proably goes after Quinn but before Smith. All of this subject to change at the Combine. As to my guess I don't know the numbers or how the GMs and Coaches are thinking. I am going by how things sound.

I feel that Jamarcus Russell will be the first quarterback taken in the draft. He is 6'6" and 260 lbs and has a rocket arm. He can sit on his behind and still throw the ball 40 yds. He also played in the SEC from a pro-style offense going up against tough defenses (i.e., fast and hard-hitting). The knock on him is that he has trouble reading defenses and waits too long to make a decision. I know this because I have watched him play throughout his career. However, that being said his upside potential is so great that he is worth the risk.
Quinn will be the second choice at quarterback. Smith and Leak will follow after that.

Brady Quinn should be #1 q.b. Chris Leak is too small for the NFL. Jamarcus Russell may not be a good fit in the pro style offenses ran in the NFL.

Down year for QBs in the draft. None SHOULD even be first round picks but you know Russell and Quinn will be. I see Russell going to Oakland. Quinn and Leak and even Troy Smith I do not see as becoming anything great in the NFL.....waste of a first round pick if you ask me.

Quinn is the best available but I think the Raiders will take Russell, and the Lions will take Quinn, Troy Smith will not go in the first two rounds

Quinn to Oakland because they need some help ASAP. Quinn is a good leader and can get the job done fast. so he is a good choice for the raiders to go with. Russell just takes to long to kick in. So he would probably be good later on in his career but not no when the Raiders need it the most. Who knows maybe Russell will be the next romo? (jk)

If Raiders keep 1st I'd say Russell will be, and although he's my type of QB (Daunte Culpep. type) I think Brady Quinn would be the better choice, but Al Davis would never go for a pretty-boy like him. Hell, I'm leaning they won't even take a QB in the first round---Al's never done that (even though this time it seems COMPLETELY necessary)
