Divas like Mickie and Torrie to stop wrestling?

I love watching wrestling. I love watching "WRESTLING." I hate it when I see the bimbo girls in there trying to "wrestle." Don't get me wrong, they are hot, but I would rather see them just taking clothes off and dancing and stuff inbetween matches like the nitro girls used to do (I know everyone forgot about the nitro girls). Besides, their matches suck. Those are the matches where i go to get food or take a leak. Torrie, Mickie James, Candice, etc. should never be allowed to wrestle anymore. Just let them strip and dance and leave the real athletes do the wrestling.

for leese69-- We HAVE seen their matches. If you watch closely, you will see poorly timed kickes, slight pauses where divas get confused with the next move, botched moves. They just dont have the ability.

It's nice to finally find someone that feels the same way I do about these awful diva matches. The moves they attempt often look sloppy and poorly timed. The divas should be valets and eye candy b/c the matches down right suck. No one really pays any attention to the women's division anyway. At one point Trish Stratus was the champ and was off the program for 3-4 months while she was injured and no one noticed b/c no one cares. I know the women are going to be upset but lets be for real, the women should be escorting the men to the ring like it was years ago. They should be used as elements to story lines involving the men but not as wrestlers.

Pal I agree with you. I have been a fan of wrestling for about 20 years now and I am a fan of classic wrestling. I don't need big storylines or big superstar personalities. I also don't need the women's title in the mix. It is not that I am sexist or anything, but the Divas of the WWE just can't sell their matches. I'm sorry but the majority of their matches look terrible. The Divas look like dear in headlights. When there is a diva match on, it's time for me to go get a snack or go to the bathroom. If I wanted to see half naked girls going at it, I can use the internet. And if people don't believe me when I say the matches suck, look at the link below. You will be entertained.

P.S. I'm not just talking about Candice, and Torrie and all the really hot ones. I'm talking about all the divas. Even the one's who some say "changed the womens division". I could have lived without a Stratus, or Lita, or James to watch trying to wrestle.

I agree about some of the divas, but Mickie James is an excellent wrestler and has been wrestling for close to 8 years. She's had some great matches against men, especially one in TNA where she wrestled in a steel cage/weapons match.

WWE just doesn't allow the real women wrestlers the freedom to show how good they are.

*Edit: Scott Q, I didn't say you haven't seen their matches and clearly said I agree about some divas. I was just making a point about Mickie. Have you actually seen anything Mickie has done outside of the WWE (I have and know that she can wrestle)? They put her in the ring with inexperienced women, so of course it's going to make her look bad because she's not allowed to do certain high-risk things.

I've been a wrestling fan for over 25 years and have seen some excellent women wrestlers. Japanese women wrestlers put the American male wrestlers to shame. You can't generalize about women wrestlers if you're only basing your opinion on what you see on WWE. They will never allow the good ones to truly show what they can do, because some would upstage John Cena.

There are only a few real women wrestlers in the WWE anyways (Mickie James, Victoria and Jillian Hall, most notably).

Lance Storm even commented on this in a recent commentary about how WWE makes their women wrestlers look bad. He mentioned that some of these women don't get the credit they deserve because they aren't allowed to show how good they are. He's trained many wonderful women wrestlers.

Well, I can agree and disagree with you on this. I agree with you that some of these girls are bimbos- Torrie, Candice, Ashley, Jillian- they are bimbos. They suck at wrestling and need to be kept out of the ring. On the other hand, I think Mickie James, Trish Stratus and Lita (when they were on) were great female wrestlers. I look up to them, being in as I'm training. It's sexist to say "just let them strip and dance and leave the real athletes to do the wrestling. These women are athletes, whether you think they are great or not. You're just a meathead.

WWE thinks that males enjoy looking at woman struct around like a tramp so they watch it. Nobody want to look at them . They have no talent. WWE should train really woman wrestlers that don't have to take their clothes off for a reaction from the fans. By the way Torrie Wilson has been wrestling for how many years why doesn't she learn to wrestle or get out of the ring
