Half-inch angle brackets - one side to the board, the other to the wall. Put them on the right way round and you'll only see the edge screwed to the board.

Buy some Velcro with a glued backing and put some on the wall behind the dart board and the dart board itself and this should help the problem. It's very inexpensive and can be found at most stores where sewing supplies are kept.

Put things like beer mats in the sides between the wall and the board to take the shock of the dart hitting it ,like cheap shock absorbers

use folded paper or wedges of wood on the 20, 8 and 15, under the board this should help to keep it still

Shoot it...lol.....Anyways, if you don't fasten it with nails or hooks, what about trying some good adhesive....providing it's a thistle board that is.
